The committee of a popular Lincolnshire event have reported a “possible criminal offence” to police. Woodhall Spa 1940s Festival released a statement on social media saying that its team is currently liaising with Lincolnshire Police.
The statement reads: “Our team is currently liaising with Lincolnshire Police after the committee alerted the authorities regarding a possible criminal offence. As this is an ongoing investigation, we can make no further comment at this time.”
It was announced on Saturday, November 4 that the festival would be cancelled after more than a decade due to rising costs. People were shocked and saddened by the news.
