‘The rumours are true’ – Revolution Bar and Lounge in Grantham confirms reopening

A cocktail bar and lounge in a Lincolnshire town announced it will reopen its doors after nearly three years of silence on social media. Revolution Bar and Lounge in Grantham, formerly Rumours nightclub, has been closed for some time but is now on the hunt for staff ahead of reopening.

The venue is located on Market Place and is just a stone’s throw away from Gravity nightclub. There appears to have been work going on inside the building over recent months and a sign has now been placed in the window with the words “opening soon”.

The bar posted on social media for the first time since July 2021. The post reads: “The rumours you are hearing are true. We are working hard getting the building ready to reopen. The countdown begins.”

People interested in working at the bar when it reopens are encouraged to get in touch with the owners via Facebook Messenger. The sign on the venue’s window also says to keep and eye out for forthcoming offers and promotions.

Grantham Market Place, where Revolution Bar and Lounge is located, is currently undergoing a major refurbishment. Traders in the area told Lincolnshire Live how the works were “killing businesses”.

Revolution Bar and Lounge, which is independent and separate to the Revolution Bars chain, has been approached for more information regarding the opening.
