A stretch of the A16 in Lincolnshire has been closed in both directions due to a vehicle fire. The A16 in Stickney has been closed from Pinfold Lane to Northlands.
Traffic monitoring system Inrix reports heavy traffic between Boston and Stickney due to the incident. Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said eight crews were in attendance at the fire and advise the public to steer clear of the area.
It also advised all residents who live nearby to close their windows and doors. There is heavy smoke in the area so the public is advised to avoid it where possible.
