A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We know this is a busy residential area, and there will be people in the community, either in properties nearby, working, or driving in the area, who could have information who we have not yet spoken with. We’re asking you to help our investigators find out what happened.

“We ask that you view any dashcam footage, or any other recording, and see if it has captured an altercation between several people in the nearby area between 8.45pm and 9pm. We are particularly keen to view anything which may have taken place on the grassy areas in that location, and along the river.”

One of the suspects is described as white, around 6ft tall with blond hair and wearing a balaclava, dark grey hooded jacket, black trousers and dark trainers with a reflective strip on the back. The other man was said to be wearing a black hooded jacket, black tracksuit bottoms, and black trainers with a reflective heel.
