A Lincolnshire town pub in a prominent location has been listed on the market. The Sir Isaac Newton on Grantham High Street is to be sold at an asking price of £395,000 plus VAT and its owners have released a statement on the sale.
It is being marketed by leisure property specialists, Fleurets, and comes with a three-bedroom private accommodation. The Sir Isaac Newton, previously the Atrium, was taken over and renovated by pub group Amber Taverns.
The pub is described by WhatPub as a “large feature 24 metres bar” with “eight large sports screens” and a “large garden area with a sports screen outside.” Amber Taverns says that the pub is up for sale as it falls out of the group’s “strategic area”.
A spokesperson for Amber Taverns said: “The pub has been put up for sale because it falls outside our strategic area to offer full management support. We are committed to further investment in other areas and feel a local operator will benefit from a great asset.”
