Dog put down after being dangerously out of control and injuring three people in Sleaford

A dog has been ‘humanely euthanised’ after it injured three people in a Lincolnshire town. Police received reports of two large crossbreed dogs out of control near Bristol Arcade in Sleaford during the early hours of Sunday, October 29.

One of the two dogs seized was identified as being responsible for causing injury to three separate victims whilst being dangerously out of control. That dog has since been put down. The second dog seized remains in kennels at this time pending further discussions with the owner.

Amanda Wyle, 42, of St Giles Avenue in Sleaford was charged with three counts of owner/person in charge of dog dangerously out of control causing injury. She was sentenced by three magistrates to a community order of 40 rehabilitation activity requirement days and to pay compensation to the three victims.
