BRIT Award winners The Last Dinner Party announce new Lincoln gig date

The Last Dinner Party, a BRIT Award-winning indie rock group, will be performing a Lincolnshire date as part of the band’s upcoming tour. The London quintet will be playing at the Engine Shed in Lincoln on Friday, September 28.

They’ll be touring their debut album, Prelude to Ecstasy, which will be released tomorrow (Friday, February 2). Band members have referred to it as an “archaeology of ourselves,” while Guardian critic Alexis Petridis said they had “totally delivered” on the hype.

Tickets will go on pre-sale at 8am on Wednesday, February 7 on the band’s website. General sale will open on Friday, February 9 at 8am.

Praise has been heaped on the band since their debut single, Nothing Matters, reached number 41 on the UK charts. They picked up the Rising Star Award at the BRIT Awards in December and were similarly heralded by Rolling Stone magazine.

The group, founded in 2021, also topped the poll for BBC Radio 1’s Sound of 2024. The world tour will kick off with a string of European dates, beginning with a sold-out show in Berlin on February 16.
